Lina Jalloub holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, complemented by extensive public health training in the nutrition sector as part of her dietetic degree. She is very committed to ensuring equitable health for underrepresented communities. She has actively contributed to initiatives to improve maternity care for Cultural and Linguistic Diverse communities (CALD), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and rural and remote communities. She has previously worked at the Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth (Stillbirth CRE) Equity and Diversity team, where she played a pivotal role in developing resources for the full package of Growing a Healthy Baby (www.growingahealthybaby.org.au) for Migrant and Refugee communities and Stronger Bubba Born (www.strongerbubbaborn.org.au). Currently, Lina is using her expertise as a dietitian at the Indigenous Research Group at Mater Research, working toward developing a mobile health (mHealth) nutrition resource for Indigenous pregnant women.
